Lash Lifting in Kuwait: Full Guide
A lash lift is a chemical treatment that curls your natural lashes upward and holds them in that position for six to eight weeks. No extensions are added. The result is your own lashes looking longer and more open because they are lifted rather than pointing straight out or downward.
How it works
A small silicone shield is placed against the eyelid. Your natural lashes are pressed onto the shield one by one using a water-soluble adhesive. A lifting solution is applied to the lashes and left for a set time (usually 8 to 12 minutes depending on lash thickness). This solution breaks the bonds in the lash structure, allowing them to take on the curved shape of the shield. A setting solution is then applied to lock the new shape in place.
Most appointments include a lash tint at the end. The tint darkens the lashes so they look fuller without mascara.
Who it suits
A lash lift works best for clients who have decent natural lash length but whose lashes grow downward or straight out. The lift makes them visible, which creates the illusion of length even though nothing is added.
It does not suit clients with very short or very sparse lashes. The treatment can only work with what is already there. If you want volume or length that your natural lashes cannot provide, extensions are the better option.
What to expect
The treatment takes about 45 to 60 minutes. There is no pain. Most clients describe a mild tingling during the lifting solution application. Avoid getting the lashes wet for 24 hours afterwards, and avoid oil-based products around the eye for the duration of the lift.
The result is low-maintenance. No daily application, no removal routine, no infill appointments. You wake up with curled lashes every morning for the full duration.
