Lash Extensions in Kuwait: Full Guide

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow treatment that uses a handheld tool with fine needles to deposit pigment into the skin in hair-like strokes. The result looks like natural brow hairs, filling in gaps, defining shape, and creating symmetry that lasts one to two years before fading.

Cost is the question most clients ask first. Here is what determines the price and what the full process involves.

What affects the cost

Microblading pricing in Kuwait depends on the artist’s experience, the quality of pigments used, and whether the price includes the mandatory touch-up session. A complete microblading service always requires two appointments: the initial session and a touch-up four to six weeks later. Some salons quote the initial session only, which makes their price look lower but means you pay separately for the touch-up. At Dashe, our pricing includes both sessions because one without the other is not a complete treatment.

The artist’s experience matters more in microblading than in almost any other beauty service. Brows are the most prominent feature on the face when someone looks at you, and a poorly shaped or poorly placed brow is visible from across a room. An experienced microblading artist costs more because they have the precision to create symmetry, choose the right pigment shade, and place strokes at the correct angle for your natural brow growth.

The process

The first appointment takes about two hours. It begins with a detailed mapping of the brow shape using measurements and guidelines based on your facial structure. You approve the shape before any pigment is applied. A topical numbing cream is used to minimise discomfort during the procedure.

The artist then creates individual hair strokes using a microblading pen. The strokes follow the direction of your natural brow hair to blend seamlessly. After the session, the brows will look darker than the final result. This is normal. Over the next 7 to 14 days, the colour softens as the skin heals.

The touch-up at four to six weeks fills in any gaps where pigment did not take fully during the first session and allows the artist to refine the shape if needed. Without this second appointment, the result is incomplete.

Healing timeline

Days 1 to 3: brows look bold and dark. Days 4 to 7: flaking begins as the skin heals. Do not pick at the flakes. Days 7 to 14: colour appears to fade significantly. This is temporary. Days 14 to 30: the true colour gradually reappears as the healed skin settles. The final result is visible after the touch-up session has healed.

Who it suits

Microblading suits clients with sparse brows, over-plucked brows, gaps, or asymmetry who want a natural-looking result without daily makeup. It does not suit clients with very oily skin in the brow area (the strokes tend to blur and spread), active skin conditions around the brows, or clients on certain medications like blood thinners. We screen for these during the consultation.
