The most common question we receive about hair colour at Dashe is about price. The honest answer is that there is no single price, because the cost depends on several factors that change from one client to the next. Any salon quoting a fixed price without seeing your hair first is either overcharging to cover all possibilities or underquoting and adding fees later.
What determines the price
Hair length and density matter the most. Long, thick hair requires more product and more application time. The difference between colouring a bob and colouring hair that reaches the waist can easily be double the cost or more.
The type of service matters too. A full colour (roots to ends) is different from a root touch-up. Balayage and highlights take longer than a standard all-over colour because they require precise, hand-painted application on individual sections.
Starting colour and target colour also play a role. Going from black to blonde requires lightening (bleach) before the colour is applied, which adds a full extra step. Going from light to dark is simpler and less expensive.
Product quality makes a difference as well. Professional-grade colour products cost more but cause less damage and hold longer than budget alternatives.

Across Kuwait salons, prices vary widely. A simple root touch-up might start from 15 to 25 KD at mid-range salons. Full colour ranges from 30 to 70 KD depending on length. Full balayage or highlights can reach 100 KD or more at specialist salons.

How to confirm pricing before booking
Any reputable salon will offer a consultation before quoting a final price. At Dashe, we always ask to see the hair (in person or via WhatsApp photos) before giving an accurate quote. This protects the client from surprises and protects us from making promises we cannot keep.
Ask about the total price including all steps, the expected session duration, and whether a second session might be needed (particularly for lightening dark hair).
