Davines is an Italian haircare brand founded in Parma in 1983. The family-run business is known for two things: strong research credentials in haircare chemistry, and a genuine commitment to sustainability that runs through sourcing, packaging, and operations. The brand became a B Corp in 2016 and has remained one of the more environmentally credible names in professional haircare since.

OI (Oil Infusion) Range

OI is the anti-frizz and softness line. Built around roucou oil (a tropical seed oil rich in beta-carotene), the products work to tame coarse or dry hair, enhance softness, and add a natural glossy finish. The scent is distinctive and recognisable, often cited as one of the most pleasant in professional haircare.

OI Shampoo

A gentle sulphate-free shampoo that cleanses without stripping natural oils. Unusually rich for a shampoo — most clients find it leaves the hair feeling already soft before the conditioner step.

A rich, creamy conditioner that pairs with the shampoo to deepen softness. For medium to thick hair, it is one of the better-performing conditioners on the market. Fine hair may find it too heavy — in that case, use it only on the ends.

A leave-in spray that works as heat protectant, detangler, and light conditioner in one. Apply to wet hair before blow-drying. One of the more useful daily products in the range, especially for clients with long or medium hair who blow-dry regularly.
